Fort Worth, Texas – December 21, 2023 – West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS), a renowned institution dedicated to academic excellence and spiritual growth, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan McRoy to the Honorary Doctorate Degree Acceptance Program Committee. This committee plays a pivotal role in recognizing outstanding individuals who have significantly contributed to faith-based institutions, nonprofit organizations, and business and community empowerment.
Jonathan’s extensive career traverses the government, nonprofit, and private sectors, where he has spearheaded numerous strategic projects and initiatives in the People/Organizational Development and Human Resources space. He translates theory into practice as an adjunct professor, leveraging his background to educate and motivate future leaders. Jonathan is a champion for civic engagement and veterans.

Jonathan is a doctoral candidate focusing on diagnosing and optimizing organizational systems and talent development frameworks. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Management and Technology and has completed graduate studies in Advanced Intercultural Management. He has a Bachelor of Science in General Studies from the University of Management and Technology. A Six Sigma Black Belt Professional with certifications in organizational design and leadership development. He is a member of the Delta Epsilon Tau International Honor Society.
Jonathan served in the United States Air Force for 20 years. He also served as a Commissioner for the Kansas African American Affairs Commission, and a Leadership Development Trainer at the Kansas Leadership Center.
