This prestigious degree will be presented to her during the upcoming honorary doctorate degree ceremony in May 2024, which will be held both in-person and virtually.

Dr. Paula Hollis embodies a philosophy centered on adding value to people, a principle that has guided her vocation, spiritual, and social engagement. Vocationally, Paula has over 26 years at the Independence Health Group. In her current role as Program Manager, she steers value-based healthcare initiatives to optimize member experiences while minimizing employer group costs.
As a Transformational Speaker, Best-Selling Author, and Coach in Grief, Relationships, and Personal Development, Paula empowers clients to unlock their authentic presence. Through her online learning portal, pH Academy, she shares practical leadership strategies, emphasizing the intentional cultivation of healthy relationships with oneself and others.
Spiritually, Paula is dedicated to her ministry roles, including Praise and Worship Leader, Small group facilitator, and Prayer Devotional Leader. A committed member of The Perfecting Church in Sewell, NJ, she also lends her voice to the award-winning Maverick City Choir and serves as an instructor in the internationally based HER School of Ministry.
Socially, Paula extends her commitment through service with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and as a board member of the Jazmine T. Bryant Brighter Day Fund.
