Phillip T. Todd Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From West Coast Bible College & Seminary

Fort Worth, Texas – Monday, February 17, 2025 – Phillip T. Todd, is an enthusiastic Early Intervention Advocate and entrepreneur dedicated to supporting children with developmental delays and their families for over 30 years will be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS). This distinguished accolade will be formally bestowed upon him at a ceremonial event scheduled for June 7, 2025, accommodating both in-person and online attendees.

Dr. Phillip S. Porter, President of WCBCS, expressed his enthusiasm: “Phillip is an inspirational and dedicated Early Intervention Advocate whose life’s mission and servant leadership has helped thousands of youths and their families.  Dr. Phillip Todd is a passionate Early Intervention Advocate with a bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology earned in 1990, Phillip has devoted over three decades to improving the lives of young children through effective communication strategies and intervention programs. Following this, Phillip completed a graduate degree in Education in 2006, further expanding his expertise and commitment to inclusive education.

In his professional journey, Phillip played a pivotal role in establishing an inclusive daycare program while working with Easter Seals of North Georgia. This initiative was designed to provide comprehensive support to children of all abilities, fostering a nurturing and educational environment where every child could thrive. His commitment to inclusion and advocacy has made a significant impact on the community, setting a standard for best practices in early childhood education.

In recognition of his exceptional contributions, Dr. Todd was honored with the President’s Award from the Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness in 1998, acknowledging his dedication and hard work in promoting health and wellness for children and families. Most recently, in 2024, he received the Rising Star Award from Georgia’s Early Intervention Program, celebrating his innovative approaches and continued advocacy for early intervention services.

Through his entrepreneurial endeavors and advocacy work, Phillip Todd continues to empower families and inspire professionals within the field. Committed to fostering inclusive communities, Phillip strives to raise awareness about the importance of early intervention, ensuring that every child can reach their full potential.
