Fort Worth, Texas – Friday, February 20, 2025 – Willie S. Davis, III, is a resolute leader, community advocate, and champion for transformative change with over 25 years of experience will be conferred with an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from West Coast Bible College & Seminary (WCBCS). This distinguished accolade will be formally bestowed upon him at a ceremonial event scheduled for June 7, 2025, accommodating both in-person and online attendees.

Dr. Willie Davis with over a decade of experience at The Dannon Project, a nationally recognized nonprofit, has played a pivotal role in empowering at-risk populations, including justice-involved individuals, underserved youth, and underemployed adults.

Beginning as a Youth Program Case Manager, Willie quickly distinguished himself through his ability to connect with participants and inspire meaningful change. Rising through the ranks to become the Career Services Director, he has revolutionized employment services with innovative strategies that match program participants’ talents with workforce opportunities. His work has increased job placement rates, fostered sustainable employment, and established lasting partnerships with local businesses, creating economic and social ripple effects throughout the community.
